Strawberry Festival
The tradition that has drawn visitors from across the island since 1973.
The Strawberry Festival that began in 1973 lives on in Cyprus's westernmost villages.
This year's festival has ended — see you next year.
Founded in 1995 when the producers of Yeşilırmak and Yedidalga joined forces, our association works to preserve the region's agricultural heritage and carry it forward through two annual festivals.
About Us →The tradition that has drawn visitors from across the island since 1973.
A summer gathering on Yedidalga's coast celebrating Cyprus's native grape.
This spring Yeşilırmak's village square fills again — the 53rd time — with crates of strawberries, the scent of jam on the hob, and live music. For two days visitors from across the island meet the growers, and folk dance ensembles bring the square to life.
Two villages at the western tip of Cyprus, between mountain and sea.
From village fundraisers to announcements — the latest from the association.
The stage schedule, picking workshops and children's activities for the festival on 9–10 May 2026 at Yeşilırmak Village Square have now been finalised.
